In this exercise, we are going to identify 5 areas where we shine and 5 areas where we struggle. When thinking about these things, pay attention to any patterns or common themes that may emerge.
For example, if you have a tendency not to advocate for yourself and also to fall into people-pleasing behavior or to avoid confrontation, maybe there are challenges with self-confidence that you can address.
On the other hand, if you are respectful and honest, you can rely on those strengths to help improve challenging areas. For example, “I do struggle with advocating for myself, but I'm making a commitment to work on this and I know that when I need to advocate for myself, I can do it respectfully and honestly.”
